7. Remarketing / Retargeting Feature

The provider uses the remarketing or "similar target groups" function of Google Inc ("Google") and Microsoft Inc (Bing Ads) on the website. Using this function, the provider can target visitors to the website with advertising by displaying personalized, interest-based ads to visitors to the provider's website when they visit other websites in the Google or Bing Display Network. Google and Bing use cookies to analyze website usage, which forms the basis for the creation of interest-based advertisements. For this purpose, Google and Bing store a small file with a sequence of numbers in the browsers of website visitors. This number is used to record visits to the website and anonymized data on the use of the website. No personal data of visitors to the website is stored. If you subsequently visit another website in the Google or Bing Display Network, you will be shown advertisements that are highly likely to take into account previously accessed product and information areas. You can permanently deactivate the use of cookies by Google by following the following link and downloading and installing the plug-in provided there: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Further information about Google and Bing Remarketing as well as the privacy policy can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de and https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatemen

8. Social Media PlugIns

Use of Social Plugins of Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest Using 2Click Solutions

Our website uses social plugins (“plugins”) of social networks. In order to increase your level of data protection when visiting our website, the plugins have been integrated into the site using what is known as “2Click Solutions”. This integration ensures that no immediate connection is made with the servers of the individual social networks when a site of our website is accessed that includes such plugins. Only when you activate the plugins will your browser establish a direct connection with the servers of the individual social network. The content of the individual plugin will then be transferred by the corresponding provider directly to your browser and integrated into the site. Once the plugin is integrated, the providers are informed that your browser accessed the specific site of our website, even if you do not have an account with the provider in question or are currently logged out of your account. This information (including your IP address) will be transferred directly from your browser to a server used by the corresponding provider (possibly in the US), where it will be stored. If you interact with the plugins, for instance by clicking the “like” or “share” buttons, this information will also be transferred directly to a server used by the provider, where it will be stored. The information will further be published within the social network and shown to your contacts. This serves within the framework of the weighing of interests to secure our legitimate interests in the optimum marketing of our offers in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 f EU-GDPR.

For the purpose and scope of this data acquisition and the further processing and use of this data by the provider, for contact details and your settings options and rights concerning the protection of your privacy, please see the data privacy statements of the individual providers:
